● Male fled immediately. Patrols by officers & Police K9 Unit negative

● No damage. Nothing stolen

● Suspect entry by smashing through balcony door of 2nd floor bedroom

● Several rooms rummaged. Designer bags & jewelry targeted

B&E Residential (Construction Site) - 3100 Block Benbow Rd

● Entry to construction site tool shed by breaking lock

● Construction tools & supplies stolen.

B&E Residential (Construction Site) - 3100 Block Mathers Ave

● Intrusion alarm at home under construction

● Suspects fled prior to police attendance.

● Forced entry to construction site shed. Nothing stolen

THEFT

Theft (Bicycle) – 1000 Block Lawson Ave

● Break-in to unsecured, detached garage

● Mountain bike stolen

Theft from Auto – 2400 Block Marine Dr

● Car cover stolen off vehicle in commercial complex parking area

Theft from Auto – 5700 Block Marine Dr

● Tools stolen from truck in marina parking lot

FRAUD

Fraud - 500 Block 13th St

● Victim responded to email solicitation offering sale of cryptocurrency

● Victim agreed to purchase & transferred funds to newly created cryptocurrency account

● Suspects removed funds from account. Victim subsequently lost all contact with suspects

Fraud (Attempted) – 900 Block Marine Dr

● Resident received text message claiming to be from ‘Service BC”

● Message falsely claimed resident had a $400 government payment to claim

● Intended victim provided bank & personal information before family member intervened & contacted police

● Accounts frozen. No financial loss.

Fraud (Attempted) – 200 Block 14th St

● Resident called by suspect claiming to represent phone company

● Payment information given when suspect claimed it was for a $20 service charge

● Intended victim contacted bank & found suspect attempted unauthorized charge

● Transaction safely halted. No financial loss.
