BREAK & ENTER


B&E (Residential) - Westhill

● Rear entry door smashed triggering Intrusion alarm. Suspects fled prior to police attendance

● Unsecured personal safe targeted


B&E(Residential-Attempted) - Dundarave

● Homeowner heard noises from yard, then saw unknown male at side of home

● Male left. Prying damage found on ground level window. No entry. Nothing stolen


B&E/Theft from Auto (Residential Garage) - Cedardale

● Suspect entered unsecured garage, stole wallet & cash from unlocked vehicle

● Electric scooter stolen from garage


B&E(Storage Room) - Ambleside

● Storage locker within unsecured parkade pried open

● Bicycle & personal accessories stolen


Trespass by Night - Horseshoe Bay

● Male reported in residents only area trying apartment door handles in multi-unit building

● Officers found & apprehended suspect for Trespass & Breach of prior release conditions


THEFT


Theft from Auto – Lions Gate Bridge Area

● Vehicle left parked/unlocked overnight in multi-unit complex parking

● Backpacks, cycling equipment & sunglasses stolen


Theft from Auto – Taylor Way / Marine Dr Area

● Utility vehicle tonneau cover damaged to access vehicle in commercial parking area

● Laptop, cell phone, clothing stolen

Theft – Ambleside Business District

● Propane tanks stolen from retail storage locker


Theft – Upper British Properties

● Electric vehicle charging cord stolen from open carport at residence


MISCHIEF


Mischief (Graffiti) – Horseshoe Bay

● Graffiti sprayed on side of moored boat


Mischief – Upper British Properties

● Tire cut on parked vehicle

● Passenger side window smashed on vehicle in retail parking area. Nothing stolen


FRAUD


Fraud(Grandparent Scam) – Ambleside

● Victim contacted by male suspect claiming grandson was in jail & needed $6000 bail

● Male suspect attended victim's residence & was given money


Fraud(Out of Country Rental Scam)

● Victim responded to online listing for apartment rental in California

● Suspect posing as rental manager requested eTransfer of deposit then immediately ceased contact after money was sent
