Calls For Police Service In West Vancouver Since Last Alerts – 307


BNE Residential - Upper Dundarave Area

● Late evening break-in through 2nd floor balcony of residence

● Upper floor bedrooms targeted. Jewelry & watches stolen

BNE Residential(Seasonal Cabin) - Cypress Mountain

● Forced entry through window. Stored liquor & food items stolen


Theft from Auto / Possession of Stolen Property - Horseshoe Bay ● Report received of male & female trying door handles on vehicles during early morning hours ● Suspects located/apprehended. One actively breaking into a vehicle & in possession of suspected stolen property ● Investigation to confirm ownership of recovered property ongoing

Possession of Stolen Property / Disturbance - Taylor Way / Marine Drive Area

● Report received of 3 males fighting in retail parking area. Officers attended

● Males identified & arrested, one for possession of stolen auto, one subject of outstanding NV RCMP arrest warrant, 3rd male for Causing a Disturbance S.175 CCC

Theft from Auto - Taylor Way / Marine Drive Area

● Window smashed on vehicle in retail area parking

● Camping gear stolen

Theft from Auto - Taylor Way / Marine Drive Area

● Window smashed on vehicle in retail area parking

● Personal items stolen

Theft - Horseshoe Bay

● Suitcase left unattended in ferry passenger waiting area stolen

Theft - WV Community Centre

● Sports bag & personal items stolen after being left unattended in open shelving of fitness area


Fraud - Cypress Creek Area

● Call from suspect falsely claiming to represent utility company demanding immediate payment via digital currency for an allegedly overdue account

● Payment made prior to victim realizing it was a scam

Fraud - Sentinel Hill

● Resident provided personal details responding to online job offer then found to be false

● Immediate action taken by resident to contact personal banks & financial services. ● Accounts secured. Credit bureaus alerted. No losses noted to date
