Residential B&E - Southridge Area

● Suspects broken into home through upper floor door, possibly climbing tree to access patio

● Jewelry & cash stolen


Residential B&E - British Properties - Capilano Area

● Resident at home, heard window smashing from upper floor. Homeowner's dogs barking appear to have caused suspects to flee

● No confirmed theft.


Residential B&E - Eastern British Properties

● Suspect entered residential garage through unsecured side door

● House keys, vehicle fob taken from unlocked vehicle parked in garage


Residential B&E - Taylor Way / Trans Canada Highway

● Suspect entered home through open upper levels window

● Cash stolen


Residential B&E - Upper Ambleside

● Suspect or suspects smashed patio door to enter unoccupied home during evening hours

● Break-in discovered on homeowners return. Cash & some personal ID stolen

● Rental tools & equipment stolen from open & unsecured residential carport


Theft from Auto - Cedardale

● Personal electronics & other personal items stolen from unlocked vehicle at residence


Theft from Auto - Taylor Way/Marine Dr

● Passenger side window broken & multiple items stolen from vehicle in retail area parking

● Rear passenger window broken, backpack, ID, & medications stolen from vehicle in retail area parking

● Briefcase containing personal & financial documents & computer stolen from vehicle left unlocked in residential driveway

● Report of in-progress Theft from Auto. Responding officers found & arrested suspect in vehicle

● Suspected stolen property recovered. Suspect found in breach of prior probation conditions

● Mobility scooter windscreen & canopy damaged in common area of residential apartment building


FRAUD


Fraud - Taylor Way/Marine Dr

● Victim attempted to purchase concert tickets advertised through an on-line marketplace app

● Deposit for purchase sent. Fraudulent seller ceased all communication


Fraud - Sentinel Hill

● Victim attempted to purchase concert tickets advertised through an on-line marketplace app

● Deposit for purchase sent. Fraudulent seller ceased all communication


Fraud - Caulfeild Area

● Resident reported call received from suspect claiming a friend had been in a car crash & needed bail money

● Intended victim realized call was a scam prior to providing any detailed banking information or money. No losses


Fraud - Deer Ridge

● Resident received a call from suspect claiming their daughter was involved in an impaired driving crash & needed bail money

● Funds transferred prior to victim being alerted that it was a scam


Fraud - Caulfeild Area

● Resident reported call received from suspect claiming a friend had been in a car crash & needed bail money

● Intended victim realized call was a scam prior to providing any detailed banking information or money. No losses

Fraud - Bayhill Area

● Resident reported call received from suspect claiming to be their grandson, they had been in a car crash & needed bail money

● Funds transferred before the victim realized it was a scam

Fraud - Eagle Harbour Area

● Resident received call from suspect claiming to be their son had been in a car crash & needed bail money

● Residential immediately recognized call was a scam. No loss. Reported to police for information only


Fraud - Ambleside

● Resident reported call received from suspect claiming their son had been in a car crash & needed bail money

● Funds transferred. 2nd call received demanding additional money, but son had been contacted before further loss


Fraud (Identity Theft) - Dundarave

● Resident received email from a post secondary institution regarding a student loan application taken out in their name

● Application confirmed as unauthorized. Investigation ongoing
